Events, Awards and Recognition
STAR Agency Designation 
Awarded for customer service and quality in franchise performance. Any agency that has been a UNIGLOBE agency for a minimum of twelve months, is in compliance with UNIGLOBE System Standards and has achieved the minimum requirement in each measurement area is eligible. Agency standards for business sales and service excellence are assessed annually to rigorously reflect the dynamic needs and expectations of UNIGLOBE customers. The STAR Agency designation is awarded to agencies which live up to the UNIGLOBE mission of "setting the standard" in the industry for professionalism and reliability.
Regional Conference Awards
Each year, the UNIGLOBE Western Canada Conference brings together owners, managers, front line agents, support staff and valued suppliers from all over the region. Over two days, UNIGLOBE personnel share best practices and learn the skills, tools and competencies required of today's successful travel agency. It is also a time to celebrate individual and collective achievements as well as a chance to recognize agency owners and their staff who have reached new heights in growing their businesses. Top performers are rewarded for continually pushing the benchmark of excellence higher and higher. Some of the awards bestowed include Counsellor of the Year, the Manager of the Year, Highest Annual Revenue Award, and the highly coveted Franchise Owner of the Year Award, presented to the Franchisee who best exemplifies the UNIGLOBE Way in terms of individual success and contribution to the UNIGLOBE system.
Platinum Circle
The best of the best - this designation acknowledges top agents for 3 successive years of performance at the Gold Level of the Counsellor Excellence awards. It includes an annual retreat with the Regional President where the "best" talent has an opportunity to share their considerable knowledge and celebrate their achievement in style!
Regional Conference
Network with fellow UNIGLOBE agencies and suppliers at this annual event. Bring your staff to learn the latest on technology, marketing, and sales at the breakout sessions as well as mark sales achievements and recognition.
Owner Retreats
Our UNIGLOBE professionals have consistently said that the greatest value in "getting together" is networking with others to exchange successful ideas, procedures and techniques. Each year, owners have the opportunity to consult with peers and Preferred Suppliers alike. Annual agenda focus on what is meaningful to their business, geared around agency growth, profitability, corporate sales, leisure marketing and sharing innovative solutions or "best practices" with other agencies. Mexico, Jamaica, Thailand and Cuba have been recent destinations.
Chairman's Circle
The Chairman's Circle is the company's most prestigious annual incentive program for top UNIGLOBE Travel Agency owners worldwide. Each year, top UNIGLOBE agency owners are invited to a meeting with their peers to network with senior UNIGLOBE Travel International management, as well as leading executives of the company's top suppliers. The annual event is an opportunity for influential UNIGLOBE owners to dialogue and provide input on the UNIGLOBE strategic direction for the future. Hawaii, Napa Valley & Mexico have been recent destinations.
UNIGLOBE World Congress
Held every two years, this international event brings together UNIGLOBE owners, managers, agents and suppliers from all over the world to build new relationships, share best practices and celebrate both individual and collective achievements. The Congress provides you with information, education and networking opportunities with other agencies and global suppliers to increase your industry knowledge, inevitably leading to greater operational success. The World Congress is also a time when UNIGLOBE celebrates its leaders through its Awards Program including UNIGLOBE Franchise Owner of the Year Award system-wide and the President's Award for largest revenue volume, both regionally and system-wide.
UNIGLOBE Excellence Program
Use the UNIGLOBE Excellence Program to support your internal staff development needs and your compensation program by standardizing, and benchmarking, sales and service excellence. An entire system of assessment helps to focus your staff on the key activities, attitudes and skills that support agency growth and success. The UNIGLOBE Excellence Program has been built by the agency owners and staff in collaboration with the Regional team to assess employees by objectively, rather than subjectively, measuring performance excellence based on industry and UNIGLOBE benchmarks. Use the program to increase performance, enhance customer service (levels), encourage "personal and professional growth" and recognize performance excellence of agency personnel. It is a powerful tool for retention of your current team and for the recruiting of the talent you need to continue to build your business.
